Check in was very easy. It was a very cosy room with shared toilets. Toilet and rooms were very clean. Also saw horses while cooking in the kitchen. It was a great experience staying here.

Perfect, quiet and beautiful location. The room was much nicer than we expected! the pictures in Bookings are not as good as the reality! very quiet we slept like babies! A beautiful guest house in a beautiful location with an amiable and attentive host! What a great find! Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night on our tour around Iceland, but it was enough to appreciate how special this place is! And we saw the aurora borealis for the first time there! Be prepared for a 6km drive along a rough track and a little peaceful isolation from the rest of the world......a great plus point for us. Very useful to be able to use the kitchen to prepare a meal. Thank you Valgeir for creating this place, for the nice breakfast and for the stimulating conversation!
