I almost never leave reviews, but I had to make an exception for this place — it’s a true hidden gem that everyone should know about. It was by far my favorite accommodation during my one-month trip in Japan. It feels like staying at your grandma’s house — warm, peaceful, and full of charm. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and having a private room at the end of my trip (instead of dorms) was such a treat — especially since the price is pretty much the same. The owner is kind and helpful, the bathroom gives off Studio Ghibli vibes, and the futon on tatami was more comfortable than any other I tried in Japan. I absolutely loved my stay and highly recommend this place!

Great Facilities, the onsen bath was relaxing. Lovely view from my bed corner to the garden. Most of all, staff/Manager is so friendly and courteous and helpful with local recommendations. Great view of Atami city and beach, especially at night. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay in Atami.

I was unfortunately only 2 nights on site but had a wonderful stay. The common room is large and offers many opportunities to linger there. The kitchen is super equipped and above all, the staff incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. I had a lot of fun with them and a really great time. Thanks especially to Misusu for helping me learn Japanese. There is also a bar with delicious craft beer and tasty breakfast.

    An incredible place to stay in, especially for this price! A great view, a nice room, a little private onsen that you can book, Japanese (or western) breakfast... And more importantly, great hosts, and a great hospitality! They can speak English fluently so if your japanese isn't quite there yet, you'll still be fine. I'll definitely come back here again.
