Really nice place and Masaya is the best host. Our son loved it, and so did we. Keep it up, you are doing it right. He does a shuttle service free of charge to the station and even will pick you up, if you get lost in the woods. But we didn't need that, as we had our own car. Bathrooms are very clean. In general everything is very clean. We had the family room with 5 futons. And as we love the Japanese rooms, it was very comfortable for us.

We had a great stay! The staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had plenty towels and extra blankets. The communal areas were kept very well, plenty fridge space upstairs and down, well stocked kitchen. Shower and bathroom facilities were incredibly clean. Very quiet at night, even though they very kindly provided us with earplugs. The location is fabulous, only a few steps from the bus/train station, lawsons, 7/11. Very close to the lake which makes for a lovely walk. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!

I recently traveled to Japan from Taiwan with my child, and our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. As a solo traveler with a child, I greatly appreciated the convenience and warmth this hotel provided. It truly added to the overall convenience of our trip. Our room was not only clean but also remarkably comfortable, providing a welcoming haven after our adventures in the city. Their proficiency in English made communication effortless, and they went above and beyond to provide valuable advice for our trip. Very close to the Saiko lake and a spectacular view of the mountain Fuji just few steps from the door. Traditional japaneese house with futons. The owner was very nice and brought us a breakfast in the morning directly to our room, which was a perfect start of the day before hiking around Fuji. Lovely stay, would recommemd anyone interested in traditional experience! Note: last bus from Kawaguchiko St. leaves around 18:10 (Nov 2024), we had to take a taxi which was around 5000 yen.

There's a beautiful hidden gem temple right next to it that was the highlight of the trip. You can also rent bikes for $15 and are right on the lake. There is actually a Mt. Fuji view from the hotel too. It felt so authentic down to the elderly couple running the place. I would highly recommend/come back again. The room was large and very comfortable. No issues with feeling cold at night or too hot. There's an AC unit. They will pick you up between 3-6pm or drop you off between 9-9:30am. Outside of these hours is $10. The cab is about $16. There is no private bathroom but it wasn't an issue for us as we were there for one night. It was very clean and I think we were the only ones using it.

    Very cute home stay, felt very local. They have traditional clothes to use, a small corner to learn origami, writte caracter with pincel and ink. There is things to do if the weather is raining. I really love the place for its charisma
