Yuko, the proprietor, took such good care of me and made sure I was always comfortable. She also arranged for me to make some pottery and for one of her friends to take me to the top of the nearby Mount Karakuni, trekking past active, smoking volcanoes! From the top it's possible to see Mount Shinmoedake, the volcano from the James Bond film 'You Only Live Twice'!! We also had an impromptu karaoke session with some of her friends! A fabulous couple of days in a spectacularly gorgeous part of the World with a wonderful host!

Typical Japanese house in rural area. Stayed two nights with happiness. Host is very kind and breakfast is tasty. Walking around town is also cheerful.
