Super clean and spacious. The host are very nice and thoughtful young couple. I needed a pet friendly for a reason. They even prepared and provide a pet feeding bowl and pet wipe etc to care my dear pug. I will recommend this place to anyone. The accomodation is located 15-20 minutes walk from Kameoka station which is probably about 20 min from Kyoto. Also communication is great. They will responds very quickly.

The host was so nice and kind! He spoke excellent English, and was very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone going to Arashiyama. Great location, too!

I usually don't write any reviews unless the place to stay is exceptionally good, which is the case for this guesthouse. It is in a calm and quiet neighborhood within a walking distance to Gion and Kiyomizu-dera. I mostly enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of staff that speaks very well in English, and a very cozy room with Japanese style interior. Lastly, for a small extra price you can get an amazing Japanese breakfast made for you. I would definitely like to come back here!

The place is well located, the room is relatively reasonable in size, the place is comfortable. , the owner of the place, in addition to being a wonderful person, goes out of his way to make the guest feel good and comfortable. He helps in everything he can to the point that when we leaving the hotel he offered to take us to the train station in his car. You get everything you need at the desk without any restrictions. You won't get that in a 5-star hotel either. Full value

Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station.

The location is perfect. Only 3 minutes walk to Kiyamachi dori, a old street along the Takase river, which is a famous location for Sakura viewing if you visit Japan by April. The hotel is by far my most favourite hotel in Japan. It feels like home. The room is spacious and comfort.

I’m lucky to have the opportunity to live in this lovely house for one night. The host told me that I got the room just because of someone’s cancellation. The glass door at the entrance was so clean that I hit my head against the door. Be careful :) The host family gave us as much convenience as possible : offering us mocha and cookies, helping carry/store the luggage, supporting alipay while my credit card was invalid on the pos machine. The room was clean and well appointed, even an air humidifier was provided. Check-out: the host took photos of us, kindly requested me to stick the dot sticker at the location of my hometown on a world map, which I think are quite meaningful and memorable. The host, she is the best ever. she drove me to Kyoto station after knowing that I would leave Kyoto for Osaka. Noticing that my cellphone was left on the counter, her dad came and brought it straight away. The last night in Kyoto left me with good memories thanks to them.

Very spacious and comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing! The kitchen is well-equipped for our family of four, to prepare and have our own dinner with the ingredients we bought nearby. We loved it :)
