I was very late because I had problems arriving, so I was coming at 1:30 at night instead of 21:00 the evening before. The owner still was very friendly and explained how to find everything. I recommend this place

Older, but clean and cosy authentic japanese house. It felt like a visit to grandma’s home. Also the owner was very nice lady. Just everything we were looking for - something authentic, away from tourists and big cities. The town and its people are also very welcoming.

The guest house was equipped with all the amenities one might need for a pleasant stay, the room was comfortable and the price to value is fantastic. Furthermore the accommodation is not very far from the station, so staying mobile is made simple, and the Awaodori Kaikan which grants access to Mt. This is such a lovely location, the restored traditional village is amazing. We met very friendly and hospitable locals who took us to their secret bar and others who entertained us royally in the restaurant. The guesthouse is simple, stylish and traditional. Shared living space with the family. Feels very traditional living. Go to the restaurant Oden in the village it's a lot of fun.
