The Inn keeper is a lovely lady who always looked after me. Coffee is flat! The hot bath was wonderful and you'll always have it for yourself! Toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, towels and the likes were provided. I also had fun browsing through the magazine corner. The Ryokan is approx. a 20 minutes walk from the station (personally I enjoyed that after the long train ride) and 7Eleven, and 5 mins from the nearest Lawson's. There were a few restaurants nearby that had good meals. All in all, I was looking for a moderately priced place to stay and found a friendly home. Thank you!

Haiji is a most beautiful mountain guest house warm and welcoming just as our hosts. Their record collection and memorabilia is amazing. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommend.

The host Dera San is very friendly and will tell you anything you want to know about the area. I had a great time at the restaurant that he recommended to me. Locals were very friendly towards me. There is a good opportunity to chat with other travellers in the common area. I made friends that way. The house is an authentic homestay experience and Dera San has worked very hard to make it comfortable.
