the room was really comfy and cozy with basic amenities provided for you. the owner of the guesthouse was really friendly and helpful during the stay. do mind that she has to run a small shop selling Japanese snacks while having other heavy responsibilities. do support her.

The owner of this Hostel Is very helpful. He offered to pick us up at the JR station as we arrived very late at Shingu. He also allowed us to leave the luggage in the hostel so that we can go hiking with the backpack only. For the room, it was very clean and tidy. In short, it was a very pleasant stay and I will recommend this place to the future travelers

We had a lovely welcome even though it was a late check in, and he did very well with little English. Even though we were only staying one night, he made us feel very welcome and showed us all the property details. It was a short walk from the train station, with bikes available. The property itself is beautiful and we loved the traditional touches. He even left some Japanese snacks in the room for us. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!!

Beautiful old-style guesthouse right next to Hayatama Taisha. The location is absolutely amazing. Hayatama Taisha is literally steps away from the front door. There are river views from the room and the tatami floor rooms are beautiful.

Hosts are nice. Rooms are clean. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of a trandition Japanese house, great for culture experience. Location easy to approach, not far away from train and bus station. It was surpised that there's bathtub, which prefect for relaxing after visited Kumano kodo.
