We arrived in Tamga a day earlier than planned. Farida and Abdybek were happy to accomodate a last minute booking. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view of the garden. Not much English was spoken but our hosts made a big effort to use Google translate and it was fine to communicate. The family made us feel welcome, and after an excellent breakfast the next day, Abdybek drove us to see the waterfall!

The hosts gave us really warm welcome. House owner Makedonsky kindly gave us some travel advice. The son of the house owner the day we checked in acted literally as a rescue team helping us pull out our car stuck in a road hole. The food was yummy. Ecpecially compote and chak chak. Rooms were really cosy, bed sheets were white and fresh, ethnic carpets on walls create true vibe. Overall feeling was peace and calmness, and that we are vip guests in a good family.

Simply the best. Wonderful place. Minutes walk from the lake. Close the mountains and Barskoon village. The family were so nice. Food was amazing and so filling. Best hotel we stayed in after 6 months of travel. They have a SAUNA too! Unreal!
