The rooms are newly decorated and very clean. We had 2 great nights together with the owner family and the other guests around the table eating Nazira's homemade bread, juice, jam and traditional dishes.

To be honest, this guest house is one of the best places you can stay in Karakol. The accommodation was very cozy with great amenities and also offered delicious breakfast. Additionally, coffee, tea, and cookies are available anytime during the day. There is also a sauna, as well as a salt sauna and a hot tub. Moreover, the price for accommodation was very reasonable. If I were to return to Karakol again, I would choose this hotel again. It fully met my expectations.

Joe, the host has proper coffee (he grinds the beans fresh — something that you can hardly find around here), and cooks a simple but yummy breakfast every morning. Joe made an incredible effort to connect with us during our time with him. His genuineness, kindness and friendship, we cherish very much! Not to mention, he has 2 cute adopted dogs Boron and Jay, which he makes an effort to keep outdoors in case any guests have allergies.

We loved everything. We came back after 2 days to rest one more night in this special place. Katia, her mother and the amazing women who work there are very welcoming, helpfull and friendly. The garden is peaceful, the bathroom really clean and nice, the rooms beautifull and confortable. We nearly wanted to change all our trip to stay here 😅 We recommend +++

Matsunoki is a nice and clean hotel, conveniently located in the central area. The owners are a very kind family. The architecture is a mix of Japanese and Kyrgyz styles, which gives off a relaxing vibe. In the lobby, you can find water and tea at your disposal, and you can also request laundry service if you need to wash your clothes during your stay

Extremely beautiful location and beautiful people... I really enjoyed each and every thing... Bed was very comfortable, perfect size of room and my window view was amazing. Very clean house. I had tea out side and enjoyed the view of mountains, that was really beautiful view... Family was very co operative and specially I will give five 🌟 ⭐🌠 💫 🌟 to young boy emir.... Sergej is a very pleasant and helpful host. The accommodation is clean and reasonably comfortable considering the price to above average. The location is great, close to the center and shops. It was not a problem to keep extra things here during a trek to the mountains.

Really nice place, best breakfast we had in Kyrgyzstan! Great value for money, private bathroom, all clean. Beds still a bit hard, but that’s literally everywhere in the country. Nice staff, English a bit challenging
