The property is an old buiding from the 1950’s (I think) recently turned into a hotel. The owner / host made a point to keep everything as close to the original as possible, allowing you to travel back in time. The decor is really nice, showcasing local artists and artesans, the rooftop is great, everyone was super helpful when I wanted to book travel & tours, have laundry done etc. There is a real attention to ecology, creating as little waste as possible. The location in the heart of the market and just 2 mins away from the riverside is also very convenient. Thank you again Alex for making my stay in Kratié so memorable!

The manager, a young lady from Nepal, is great. The best of Kampot, indeed. She recommended many interesting activities and helped organize everything, my day was PERFECT, thank you. All the staff is lovely and polite. The accommodation itself is fine, no problem.

We only stayed one night at Dary’s Village Guesthouse & Restaurant, but the experience was truly excellent. The property is new, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The on-site restaurant offers tasty dishes and good service. One of the biggest strengths is the girl who manages the guesthouse—she’s very friendly, speaks excellent English, and is always ready to help.
