That’s the best hostel we stayed in Sri Lanka 😊 They organised us a tuk tuk to go to Horton plains for a very reasonable price and you can also eat in the hostel, they serve a big buffet that it’s impossible to finish. The terrace is a nice place to chill and there is birds, lizards and monkeys around. They also very nice family with a friendly dog.

Clouds 1939 was an absolute delight. The location and views were magical , the perfect place to relax. The adorable dogs made our stay even more memorable. Meals were great, staff were lovely, and the rooms were spacious and cozy - especially the attic room, which was my favourite. Highly recommended!

This is really an amazing place to stay 👍👍 It really got the characteristics of a property in England..... well maintained and spotlessly clean ... Thumbs up for all the staff I nearly put off by one of the bad reviews on Booking.com !! Don't know what's that all about but my stay was very pleasant and satisfying... Staff are super friendly....rooms are spacious and warm, clean and cosy.... Good bed and hot water.... seriously super value for money 💰 Garden also very nice with full of flowers 🌺🌺 Definitely will stay again if I come to Sri Lanka any time soon 😉😉😉 Highly recommend to anyone visiting Nuwaraeliya , Sri Lanka

I particularly liked the warm and friendly encounter with the hotel family. I received a very nice and warm welcome. Breakfast and dinner were prepared with great love, so that nothing was missing. I enjoyed the two-day tour of the region the most. Nisal is also a very good guide. He visited the Horton Plains with me. A breathtaking landscape that I would never have experienced so beautifully without his expert guidance. Many thanks to the whole family.
