Everything was perfect. The family was amazingly hospitable. Way above and beyond our expectations. The room was spotlessly clean. Super comfortable beds, the place was just awesome! We were leaving at 6am, the hostess made sure we had a cup of coffee before we left. Cannot find fault with anything. I would highly recommend Silver rail to everyone. Our reservation included breakfast and it’s truly wonderful and got a plenty of it Also the the room was spacious and proper ventilated The king sized beds were comfortable and we would love to recommend them as one of the best destinations once you should try in your travels !

From the moment you arrive you are made to feel very very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The place is extremely clean and well cared for. The home cooked breakfasts are something else. Local cuisine made traditionally. Some of the best food I have had. One of the best places I have ever stayed at. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone travelling to Galle.

Everything, even the rain and wind. It was very cosy both in the room and the restaurant when the weather stormed outside. Indika was very welcoming and helpful, and we learned so much about Sri Lanka from him. The food they made for us was excellent and gluten free, very good value for money. It is easy and fun to take the local bus outside the door, to Galle, Unawatuna and Hikkaduwa.

Amazing stay. The lovely woman will do everything for you to give you the best stay! She made amazing food, she did our laundry, very good and clean room, she got us some drinks on arrival and she is very nice to talk with. Look no further and book this lovely homestay! With the warmth of the year right now we would recommend you book with AC, we didn’t do that and we got very hot!

Aroshina and her family were incredibly friendly and took us in like their own. We were offered tea or coffee at multiple occasions during the day. We cooked with Aroshina and learned all about the Sri Lankan cuisine which was very helpful for the rest of our travels and it was the best curry I‘ve had since. Aroshina is a super hard-working mom and host, she does everything to make you feel at home. 10/10 recommend!!
