The peaceful surroundings, combined with the quiet environment, created the perfect place to unwind. The rooftop area was an added delight, offering a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a delicious Sri Lankan-style spread with great quality and variety. The location is ideal for a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to Gampaha city, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. From here, you can also travel easily by train—whether pre-booked online or with regular tickets—to destinations like Ella, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Hikkaduwa, and Mirissa. The family welcome us so friendly! They were all so nice and lovely. The food was so delicious, because they cooked fresh for us and the dogs were so cute! We had a nice overnight and it was a pleasure to meet all of them. I can recommend this place! It was in the middle of the „jungle“. The family gave us many tips.

The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.

I liked the calm of the setting, in the trees and away from the road. The staff were very lovely, and the breakfast was incredible.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Pahala Imbulgoda, Dream Residence is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard.
