It’s a fantastic hotel! The owner is very kind and polite, took care of me the whole time and also helped me to get to his hotel. Room was excellent, very clean, modern and with wonderful view of the entire city. I felt very good there and I highly recommend this place.

The whole family were hospitable and ready to help us in anyway. The father would take us & pick us up in his tuk tuk. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day. There was a small kitchenette, tea, coffee and a fridge.

We had a wonderful stay in Serene home Kandy and would like to thank Sri (and his family) for his exceptional hospitality. His kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and we really appreciated how Sri was always ready to assist and offer helpful advice. Kandy is a beautiful city, and his guesthouse was the perfect peaceful retreat. Thank you again, Sri – we hope to visit again soon! Highly recommend!

Piyal was a total gentleman. He was hospitable, informative, and efficient. He organised transport for us ( both during and onwards)made phone calls and booked the cultural show for us. I think he spoke better English than me!!! The Grove itself is beautiful. It had all the facilities required ( no refrigerator in room or kettle but filter water available on tap in the shared lounge and Tea/ coffee on request). It was spotlessly clean. Dinner was available via the hotel next door- it was brought over for you so you wouldn't really have noticed. Beer was also available. There was also a pool next door, a 3 minute walk. It has spectacular views- one of the highlights of the Grove.
