If you plan to visit Yala national park, this will be great choice to stay. The accomodation is nice, clean snd 2 minutes from the beach. The owner has build it all by himself. He is super kind, helpful and the best cook! Really recommend to have dinner at his place - we had red snapper and it was delicious. He can also organise for you the safari tour.

Santha and his family were amazing hosts, and he did a great job of taking us around Yala on safari. He has been a guide for over 20 years so has so much knowledge of the park and animals and where to find them.

Everything was perfect, the host welcome you with a delicious mango juice from his tree, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. If you want to do a safari, he will organize everything for you. Breakfast, snack, beverages fruits and OMG the Lunch we had on our way back was our favorite in Sri Lanka, they put lots of love into cooking. Everything it’s included in the Safari package. I will definitely recommend this place, and I’ll love to come back. Thank you for this beautiful stay your kindness and hospitality.

Everything clean, good location to see the lake, the bat tree and having restaurants close by. Atmosphere calm, facing nature. Also easy to take public bus and go to other places. Hosts were very nice and allowed me to stay in the room past the checkout time due to my safari finishing late midday. It was also very lovely from them to prepare me the breakfast before leaving after safari because I didnt have it in the morning due to the early times of safari schedule.

    We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable homestay tucked away in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by surroundings, all the beautiful details and the tranquil ambiance that enveloped the entire place. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the mesmerizing encounter with a resident crocodile. Karin and Santha are the loveliest hosts - it felt like family and we can’t wait to come back!
