This must have been the nicest guesthouse of my entire four week trip on Sri Lanka. Not only is the room beautiful and spacious, the owners Madhu and Sanjee make you feel like you're staying with friends. They are so welcoming and they go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. In addition, the food was delicious.

I had such a wonderful time here. The hosts Upul and Wathsala are just so kind and warm. Rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast/dinner was typical Sri Lankan, very tasty! They made me feel like part of their family.😊 It is peaceful and out of the way from Dambulla so expect either a 25 min walk from the centre or a tuktuk. 5 min walk from the Temple. Upul kindly showed me a rock nearby (hence the name of the place) and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets. Bit of a steep climb and I probably shouldn't have done it in flipflops lol but it was so worth it.

The accommodation is in a very calm and quiet place. Family environment, super small garden and comfortable, fully equipped room. The owner Nimal and his family are very helpful and kind. They take me everywhere with their own tuk tuk. I spent great days here.

Nice room and good location. You can see playing monkeys from your terrace and you get really good breakfast shame we didn’t have a dinner I believe it would be great also.

Amazing, tasty, varied breakfast and dinner Helpful owner: He organised a safari for us (very good price), trip to Pidarangula and even when I had a problem with my teeth he went to shop for pills. Very quiet place in a nice neighbourhood. The host was very helpful and polite. The food was excellent.

The location, the host, Pradeep and his team were amazing. Pradeep is such a kind, gentle person who puts his heart and soul into ensuring his guests are happy. The food cooked by his mother was delicious -the communal meals were so tasty. Pradeep organised trips to Sigiriya and a game safari where we saw lots of elephants. Nothing was ever too much for Pradeep. On the 5 acre plot where the accommodation is located Pradeep farms using permaculture producing 100% organic rice, mangoes, cinnamon, vanilla, tomatoes, chilli, bananas, jackfruit, bread fruit and so much more. One of the highlights of our stay was a guided tour around the farm when Pradeep explained about the farming process and identifying all the plants. The beds were amazingly comfortable which made for a fantastic home stay. I would highly recommend Blue Mountains View.
