Ayona Beach House was the perfect start to our journey. The owner, Dilan, is incredibly kind, attentive, and well-educated, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. His family was always ready to help, not only during our stay but also whenever we needed advice throughout the rest of our trip. The dinners here were simply the best we had during our entire time in Sri Lanka – truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the opportunity to have a relaxing massage right at the accommodation. The location is ideal, just a few minutes’ walk to a simple, almost deserted beach where we could completely unwind.

It's a great place to start or end your stay in beautiful Sri Lanka. Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

We loved this place. The house was a beautiful, calm place to be before our long flight and the welcome we received was second to none. The high ceilings were so unusual and gave a lovely sense of space. We ate some of the best homemade food in Sri Lanka too, a lovely touch for our last night. Thank you Hashini and parents!

We spent two nights here at the end of our Sri Lankan holiday. The Hosts were welcoming and always available for any need. The private room upstairs was spacious and had all the comforts. Bathroom was outside the room but private. We also could access the balcony and hang our clothes. Our privacy was respected at all times. The neighbourhood was quiet and beach is only 10-15min walking. Strongly recommended.
