Like being in a museum. Completely unique, so special. And just the perfect host: attentive whilst allowing us to be. The hotel is down some little streets away within the village. There is nowhere like this hotel.

There was really good vibe at the place, the staff were really nice and in good spirits. The food was plentiful and good. The room was warm, since we were there in the winter. The sheets and blankets were fresh and the beds were comfortable.

After a long hot journey from Marrakesh we had a warm welcome from Pierre. We had a lovely swim (swimming towels provided). A good nights sleep in the quiet location. After a delicious breakfast we had a lovely walk in the Palmerie, a must if you have time. A couple of days before we arrived Pierre contacted us to see whether we wanted to arrange dinner. We decided not to but wished we had. We ate at the local restaurant in town which was pleasant as we watched the Friday evening activities. A great stop over on the way to the desert. Would highly recommend.

Kasbah Maktob is a small inn in a stunning location inside the old kasbah and is beautifully decorated. We had a very nice terrace connected to our room. The owner is a really good host making our stay and the dinner a real pleasure.

Amazing place to stay, a true oasis in the mountains. We were welcomed as familiy and actually came back after a trip in the desert for 2 more nights. Really good food for breakfast and dinner and a truly tranquil place. Lovely hosts and Aziz took us for a tour of the different kasbahs in the area, a great experience.

Really beautiful place - the whole village is a glimpse of the past and much more traditional and beautiful than Ait ben haddou! The house is above the valley and you have a really nice view! The terrace is the best place of the house. Ismael is a very good host. The dinner we had on top of the nearby kashbah was very tasty.
