Mustapha is an outstanding host, and I highly recommend staying at his accommodation. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean but also brimming with local charm, enhancing the immersive experience of the local culture. The option to order delicious homemade dinner on-site is a must-try. For those traveling in winter, I advise opting for rooms with better standards that include heating/air conditioning, as nights can be quite cold in the winter months. Despite having paid for the most affordable rooms, Mustapha graciously offered us to stay in better rooms that were available, saving us from a chilly night. However, the highlight of our stay was the full-day tour to Dades Gorge that Mustapha arranged. He took us on an incredible off-road journey where we met nomads living off the grid and saw breathtaking views along a gravel road not marked on Google Maps. We also walked through the canyon with a guide organized by Mustapha and admired the stunning route overlooking the canyon from above. This was undoubtedly one of the best days in Morocco, making this trip memorable. I highly recommend both the stay and the tour with Mustapha

Surroundings, immerse in nature, with fabulous riverbed road to structure. Since we’re adventure bikers, we loved every meter approaching Zen Ecolodge. Also, need to mention the best tajine we had in Marocco. Big compliments to Omar, who war very kind and helpfull. Great experience!

Great location. Beautiful terrace with amazing views. Dinner by the fireplace and host were wonderful!! Short drive or walk to the canyon entrance. Definitely get a local guide if you plan to do any hiking at monkey fingers. The path is not clear and you will get a better experience with a local

I’m always very serious and careful giving opinions on Booking because I look for hotels based on customers ratings myself. This place is worth 10. Room, dinner, service, everything was exceptional, but the thing that made the difference was owners attitude. It’s 10, no doubt.

A privately run homestay in a new building situated on a hill above an old kasbah and a wonderfully blossoming river valley, wonderful for an evening walk. Mohammed prepares exceptional local food and wias also very helpful with hints and suggestions for our roadtrip. Highly recommended.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kalaat MGouna, Bab El Atlas is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

The property is a true gem! Beautifully renovated in true Moroccan style with all comfort! The outside area with pool is the cherry on the cake! The hosts are beyond welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast and dinner were the best we had during our stay in Morocco! We hope to be back soon!
