A very cozy and friendly small family hotel. The rooms have everything you need. Good breakfast. But it’s better to come by rented car, since the town is not big and apart from a beach holiday, there is nothing else to do.

The staff was very lovely and accommodating, the location is great as it’s close to the store and the marina if you are going on a boat trip. And the parking is easy. The rooms are huge and there is a kitchen for cooking if you are interested.

Everything was perfect in the accommodation and even better the hospitality. Jay is a great person with a kind heart, great helper and multilingual. We enjoyed both the stay and the time spent talking with Jay. We will come back here again next time we come to Mauritius.

We loved every moment here. Everybody is so friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious and clean, has great views and airco. The views of the river are very nice and both pools are great. There are kayaks available to go to the waterfall, on our way we saw flying foxes and monkeys, a special experience. The breakfast and dinner are delicious and authentic Mauritian food. Jean Claude is very relaxed and welcoming, he advised us on some nice hiking routes to a hidden waterfall and took us on a trip to the EvaZion green cabane near the cat and mouse mountain. We stayed in 4 other places in Mauritius before this and we loved it here the most!

The place and family is amazing! I had a very nice stay there, comfy bed, clean bathroom, a kitchen for use, Julie and Steve are supernice and helped me a lot during my stay there in the cyclone, also there is the possibility to wash your clothes, little garden to relax and read your book

Chez Henri was a great find! We booked last minute and they kindly were able to get a room made up for us. The photos don't really do it justice; it's a lovely unique home with beautiful features. The room is on the top floor and is light, airy and spacious, with a sofa and a little kitchen area so you don't have to drive somewhere for dinner. It's a nice area and the beach was blessedly quiet. In the morning I was able to walk there in a couple of minutes and have a lovely sunrise swim. Henri and his wife are very welcoming with a nice energy, and made us a perfect breakfast to enjoy on the terrace of their beautiful front garden. Max (lovely big hairy cuddly dog) was a highlight for me too 🥰
