AYIRA hotel has everything you can ask for! The room is very nice and modern and the bed is really comfortable. The bathroom is amazing, everything new and working properly. I particularly enjoyed the nice hot showers. The breakfast is delicious and they are very flexible with time in case you need it. But the best thing about the hotel, without a doubt, is the lovely family that runs the hotel. Amjad (the hotel owner) awaits and welcomes you upon arrival. He explains everything about the island (bikini beach, shops, restaurants). He shows you around the island and makes sure you have everything you need or ask for. I cannot be more grateful to Amjad who made my stay in Feridhoo the best experience on a local Maldivian island. He even helped me with my upcoming move to a different island and made sure I was there. Besides that, the people in Feridhoo are very friendly and kind. We definitely felt at home and we recommend AYIRA hotel 100%!

Very clean and stylish hotel. The two brothers who are managing the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They helped us to organize transfers, excursions and were ready to answer all of our questions! The grilled fish we had in the nice restaurant ambaa which belongs to the hotel and the fresh mocktails we had on the rooftop were delicious! We highly recommend this place! Feridhoo is a beautiful and very peaceful island!

The manager and his wife are serving all needs from the first moment of booking to the final goodbye. During my stay 22.02.-01.03. I felt very welcomed, from the very first moment on arrival till the last goodbye. They are doing everything by heart to make your stay the best holiday ever. The room was simple but had everything necessary, comfortable beds, powerful AC and ventilator, and stunning outdoor shower, everything got properly cleaned every day. An outdoor shower means also sharing the extraordinary experience a little with the nature, but incense sticks will save you from unwanted intruders :- ) The traditional breakfast and diner were delicious and always ready the time requested. Don’t miss some breathtaking excursions, very well organised through the manager, the manta rays and evening fishing I will never forget.

To those looking for a paradise that is untouched by corporate over development look no further! Feridhoo is your answer. This beautiful island has a small population of around 800 people. A stunning beach called 'Bikini Beach', breathtaking sea life and best of all, a warm welcoming, safe and honest community. Abu and Ali made us feel at home, taking care of our needs. From providing detailed information about the shopping hours, a guided snorkelling tour, watching the World Cup and making natural remedies. In addition, Ali booked our meals at the wonderful Alihaa Cafe. The food was delicious and diverse and once again, the hospitality was outstanding! Anwar, the owner is a charming person who always welcomed us with a big smile. Highly recommended.

Razeen, the manager and his team (including the owner of the Shifa Lodge) always fulfilled our wishes, whether earlier breakfast due to our divings or organizing boat excursions. The boat transfers from and to Male were perfectly arranged. Razeen's family owns a few guesthouses on the island and the boat for excursions and transfer is also in the family's property. The dinner buffet at nearby Castaway guesthouse was very rich, as well as the breakfast at Shifa Lodge. If you favor a stay on an island with locals and you do not need the luxury of a resort, you are right here. Everything on the island is in walking distance. If you are diver, we recommend Noohiri dive center (Nitrox only, we made the certificate with them). The island provides good snorkeling areas at the east side, you can encounter guitar sharks patroling in shallow water. We will come again.

Ideal accommodation option. A clean and comfortable room that has everything you need: a comfortable bed, ample storage space, a refrigerator and even a safe. Nice bathroom. The room was cleaned immediately after our request. The nearest exit to the sea is just 2 minutes on foot. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the bikini beach, and they also provide beach towels. Ali and his family were very hospitable and always helped with any questions. From the hotel owner we learned a lot of important and interesting information about the culture and traditions of the locals, we even talked about politics :) Before we left, Ali prepared a free amazing traditional Maldivian dinner for us, it was amazing! The hotel also has very tasty local breakfasts; we ate only them during our stay. Thanks to Ali and his family, we will definitely return to Feridhoo!

The guesthouse exceeded our expectations taking into account the price. People managing guesthouse are really nice, did everything they could to make our stay as comfy and pleasant as possible, and we greatly appreciate that. Food was delicious, didn't even need to go anywhere else to eat. Overall we had a great time there and can highly recommend Feridhoo Inn to everyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay and enjoy your free time.

what we liked the most were the warmth wellcome, the cooked fish of Matey, the excursion with Faruhad... and the island! So true with real maldivian life and an incredible sea. Do not miss Finolhu.

This guesthouse meets every need a guest could wish for, making it the perfect place to relax. The sandy beaches as well as the center of Mathiveri (market, fantastic bakery etc.) are just a short walk from Velana Vibes. The place is new, clean and well cared for. The design is thoughtful - functional, but also ensuring privacy for guests. But what makes Velana Vibes truly special... are the people. Munzir, the owner, is the soul of the place and Imma, the manager, is its heart. We have never met such a sincere and genuinely warm team. That includes the friendly owner, the incredibly dedicated manager and the always-helpful kitchen staff. They all put their whole hearts into making our stay special and unforgettable - and they succeeded! They were always there if we had questions. They organized everything - whether it was a golf cart tour of the island, snorkeling, fishing, fish barbecues or filming us on jet ski with a drone - and made our holidays even more enjoyable. Personally, I would like to give special thanks to Imma for the private snorkeling lesson :-) I can’t swim, but he offered to help me so that I also could see the underwater world - and he kept his promise. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, he took me and my family to a calm beach where we snorkeled together. I will never forget the experience of my very first snorkel, where I felt completely safe the whole time! At Velana Vibes, we enjoyed the comfort of a good hotel, but among the team, we felt at home - surrounded by people who genuinely wanted the best for us. Everyone made sure our stay in this wonderful place was unique and unforgettable. Although we usually don’t return to the same place twice, we truly hope to come back to Velana Vibes someday. THANK YOU for your hospitality, incredible dedication, warm atmosphere and the unforgettable time we shared with you! Because even though we visited Mathiveri during the rainy season - with you the sun was always shining! :)
