Well, what should I say? Let me assess this accomodation based on my experiences of staying in lots of hostels and guesthouses in the past and also as a former backpacker hostel manager. No doubt, I really enjoyed my stay here. Congratulations, Sojourn Beds and Cafe, you have topped the table in the first position out of all the past hostels and guesthouses in my past trips! I love the stylish, heritage and meticulous interior design of this hostel and its vibe and atmosphere. Rooms are really clean and comfortable with essential facilities like plugs, hangers, lights and also a comfy mattress. I had a quality sleep here. The toilets are really clean and I enjoyed using them. Drinking water, coffee and tea are provided round the clock. The location of this hostel is perfect in the city center near to the lake and most of the attractions, and also only few steps away from many food eateries that open in the day and night. Most importantly here, the staff, not only they are exceptionally friendly and helpful, I can really feel their true genuineness in connecting and interacting with the guests, they are just so enjoyable to talk to. Thank you so much Lin, Trisha and Tang. Here in this hostel, I can easily know other friends too. Here in this hostel, I have nothing to complain, nothing to fault. Surely I will come back and stay again and recommend it to my friends! Vicente.

I recently had the pleasure of a staycation at Rumah No 5 in Taiping, and it was nothing short of amazing. The house is beautifully designed — Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, with cozy decor, ambient lighting, and 5 star hotel like touches that give the space real character. It's clear the hosts have put a lot of love into creating a welcoming environment. ✓ Air conditioned room ✓ Electric Kettle ✓ Water heater for shower ✓ Induction cooktop with cooking appliances ✓ Fridge ✓ Laundry - Washing Machine and Dryer ✓ Smart TV ✓ Free Wi-Fi The location is also ideal. It’s just a short drive to Taiping Lake Gardens and other attractions, but still feels secluded enough to enjoy total privacy. Not to mention the great host, En. Azmil who was previously a manager at 5-star-hotel in Langkawi- even let us checked-in earlier than the appointed time and thoughtful enough to show us around the house and explained every little details. If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful, and stylish staycation spot in Taiping, I highly recommend Rumah No 5. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or a group of friends, it's a special place that makes you feel right at home with an affordable price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is neat and clean. The instructions to enter the hotel is easy to understand. It has multiple games to play such as UNO cards, mini snooker table. It's good for friends to enjoy their staycation. There was a parking spot reserved for their customer. They have a fridge, hot and cold water dispenser, dish soap and sponge to do the dishes, blankets were comfortable.

It resembles just like a stay in a regular 4 star hotel with complete amenities. A hair dryer, water heater, tea and coffee sachets etc. A very welcoming 'towels' neatly and creatively folded. The best is about TV set completed with YouTube. Staying here is never bored.

    The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. Check-in process was smooth and easy. The owner was very kind to allow for an early check-in. Location is about 10 minutes from the centre of Taiping town. We will definitely return to this homestay as and when we are in Taiping. Thank you.
