The family were friendly and the daughter spoke English really well which was a nice change from other places. I was given the choice of rooms and the one I chose was comfortable enough, with 2 beds and a private bathroom with shower. The breakfast was lovely and they set me up on the roof patio looking over the valley with a great view.

If you are looking for a warm family homestay with the facilities of a guesthouse with bathroom and breakfast you should book this stay, we loved it! Please note!!! They are experiencing problems with fake bookings and no-shows. The place is quiet, clean and only a 1 minute walk to the main street. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was different every morning. The family hosting the stay is really friendly. You can also have a typical Nepalese delicious dinner with them.

This was my second visit to the homestay and this time I got them to arrange transport from Dumre to Bandipur, which made travel much easier. The host Suman also organised a very enjoyable trip for me to visit Samastipur which is the 2nd highest suspension bridge in Nepal. Bandipur is worth at least a 3 night visit as it has much more to see and do around the area than I realised! Since my last visit the family has done a lot to ensure their homestay experience gives back to the wider community in Bandipur through the other activities and tours they offer. Impressive breakfast using local produce.

An isolated village where you can find peace and views of the Himalayas with cobbled paths, flowers, fruit trees, goats and where they even produce their own delicious honey. The few inhabitants of the village are very friendly and respectful. We stayed there with our 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son and they took care of us with everything we needed and even the kids were able to help with easy and fun day to day tasks. The houses you stay in are a gem and restored and decorated with great taste. The host is a charming retired Sherpa who makes you feel right at home. The meals are generous and very tasty. From the main H04 road (Prithvi Highway that connects Kathmandu to Pokhara) you have to detour 25km to Riepe and it is well worth it. On the way to Pokhara we stayed in Bandipur, but on the way back we were lucky to stay in the small village of Riepe to be able to live with the day-to-day life of a self-sufficient village.

Very nice room, adorable with the balcony and the matress was amazing (not thin hard one). One of the cleanest place I stayed in Nepal. The people were so nice and helpful. Nice location also. I can only recommend the hotel and will definitely stay here when I come back.
