Unit was very private, spacius, self contained, well equiped and super clean; the decoration made us feel like home. The owners are lovely and caring but gave us space and independency at the same time, allowed us to use media platforms and unit had free wifi; they also had a pair of cute wee little friendly dogs who came to cheer us prior leaving. The continental breakfast was good and fresh also had some treats and beverage available for extra but a bargain as well. Good hot shower pressure. Very close to Shantytown and the beach as well as to some grocery shops.

Very quiet, neat, and tidy room with a bathroom. The host went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They took us on a historical drive and explained all the interesting places. Best coffee in NZ. Wayne prepared a great breakfast. John was so kind even to clean the windows of our car. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was a really gorgeous, beautiful property, a lovely location and the hosts were superb. The food was astonishingly delicious, perfectly served and highly recommended. The room was well appointed, warm and welcoming.

Fantastic location, great sea view, very quiet yet not too far from the town. Luxurious and tastefully furnished and decorated room. Well stocked - wide selection of tea and coffee, your choice of milk. We were very well looked after. Absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet beautiful location outside town but close to it!
