Excellent choice off the beaten track, ideal place to spend four nights visiting the local area. Owner works really hard and is friendly and helpful. Husband also has a good sense of humour. Breakfast provisions were excellent and the surrounding gardens are a real pleasure to wander around and wake up to each morning.

The location is amazing, 10 minutes out from Matamata surrounded by beautiful mountain and farmland scenery. Brenda was very welcoming and friendly. Her cat even more so! The bed was to die for and it was lovely to relax in the hot tub in the evening. My daughter loved the garden with the play equipment and little Hobbit hole. Great location to go to Hobbiton and Tauranga.

The view, tranquillity and the sound of birds first thing in the morning is beyond words. We loved it. The stable is spacious, well equipped and v comfortable. If we had time we would have stayed longer.

Our stay was perfect, the accommodation had everything we needed. Our hosts went to the effort of providing a beautiful breakfast with amazing freshly baked bread. The bed was extremely comfy and everything was spotless. The outdoor spa was clean. We would absolutely stay again.
