It was close to the beach, and had a nice relaxed vibe. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our host was very friendly and helpful. She gave us useful tips and advice about our travels. She even went the extra mile for us, by personally dropping us to the bus stop the next morning.

Perfect location with a nice quite room with a beautiful view. Bruce was excellent for the whole weekend making us feel we'd know him for years and was blessing dropping us to the village for breakfast, mud-brick for a wedding and also dropped us off at the ferry terminal - we will return and the Wild Thyme is the only placed we'd stay!

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay here and being on Waiheke Island. Kiwi House is in a brilliant location and I was blown away by how clean and tidy it was. The bathroom was immaculate! The receptionist very kindly let us check in early (although we would have been happy leaving our luggage at reception if that hadn’t have been an option). The place felt really safe and the kitchen was well equipped for heating up food (toaster and microwave provided). There is also a fridge and we were told we could help ourselves to the milk which was really kind. As a Brit, I was delighted there was also a selection of teas to help ourselves to! The bedroom itself was tidy and the beds comfy. Overall, loved it here and would 100% come back.
