I have never rated an accomodation 10/10before …..because it is not possible ( I thought ) If you enjoy well curated accomodation, sleeping to the sound of the waterfall, great views and a quiet but central location …. I recommend Matakana Waterfall Hideaway

The staff were wonderful—warmly greeting us at reception and personally escorting us to our room. The room itself was beautifully renovated, with a fresh, modern feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was spotless. We also appreciated the efficient air-conditioning. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and the beach. A great stay overall!

Everything you could wish for in the Boat Shed. Stunning accommodation and hosts. The attention to detail is second to none, we have stayed in many types of hotels and airbnb's around the world and we both agree the Boat Shed is top of the tree. Jen and Raymond are marvellous hosts and so helpful right down to recommendations for best local restaurants and cafes. We will definitely return next time in the Auckland region.
