It's hard to leave a place like this. All the staff were the friendliest I'd ever met. Breakfast to the maximum extent of diversity that such a small hotel has to offer. The hotel itself was beautiful, tidy, rooms clean, a bathroom up to the standards of the 21st century. There's no need to write about the city, I encourage everyone to visit.

Absolutely loved it! Had booked a fab exclusive room. Just happened to stop at Guimaraes, what a town, loved it n decided to stay the night n booked this place on same afternoon n never regretted it. Only by later in evening came to realise where we’ve landed. The renowned Portugese famous tennis player owner Joao Sousa, was in house n came to stay hello, as a tennis fan our 10 mins chat with him made my day! Staff were so attentive n hospitable, like to mention their names Tania n Soraia, thank you so much for your hospitality n kindness. We had a fab time getting to know you both n the property, Abrigada, so much added to our Portugal travels n experiences! ❤️❤️

Our stay at this quinta was relaxing. It was nice to be out of the city and yet so close to everything. The suite we had was modern with a twist of farm charm. There were many common areas for recreation and relaxation both inside the main house and outside. The beautiful property had a selection of grape vines, fruit trees and floral plants. The spring fed pool was a nice addition to the relaxing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were given a tour and learned about the farm, the current farming processes and modern day improvements for a successful winery. The owner and host, Arthur, completed our vacation experience by seeing to every detail of our stay from welcoming us with a tour and a glass of wine, giving us useful information for our site seeing and checking in with us to ensure all of our needs were being met. Arthur and his assistant arranged breakfast each morning in a buffet style with a wide selection, including local breads and fruits picked by the family. We were celebrating our anniversary during our visit and had Arthur prepare our meal. It was a wonderful experience with all the different food which was perfectly paired with different wines. We were made to feel very special and it is an experience we will not forget. If you are looking to relax and have the perfect host, this is the place. We will be back!
