Fabulous stay in Villa Rio staff where very friendly and attentive breakfast was delicious 😋 could get an omelette or fried egg and rasher if u liked lovely fresh fruit and charcuterie just right for the start in the morning. Bed was really comfortable and place was spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed our stay and will be delighted to go back thank Bianca for making us feel so welcome keep doing what ur doing u made us feel at home and we had a late check-in and this was no problem 😊 😀

It’s a perfect alternative to a hostel. Same price but with your private space and bathroom. My room was big and with all the essentials. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly. When I arrived the room and the bathroom were clean as well as the towels and the bed sheets (there is no daily cleaning but for me is not a problem). Soap, shower gel and shampoo were also provided, that is a huge plus. The two windows gave on the main street and on one side it was possible to see the water from the Ribeirinha area in the morning. Perfectly central location and very friendly and kind staff. They are always there for whatever you need. The kitchen is very big and well furnished: 2 kitchen stoves, 2 sinks, 3 fridges, many tables to sit. I spent a week here and I could have stayed even longer.

This authentic Portuguese guesthouse is just fantastic and exceeded by far our expectations! The big guesthouse (19rooms)-recently impeccably renovated- is run by a beautiful, extremely friendly and helpful couple, helped by very efficient and nice staff. The breakfast which is included, served on the balcony, is wonderful and the house has so many additional spaces (kitchen,self service bar, outside sitting areas, deck and swimming pool of course) that one never wants to leave! Highly recommended!
