The concept was great of having a type of house with separate rooms but a common kitchen, pool. It was very quiet around but close to some of the best restaurants in Camara de Lobos.

Loved Solar da Bica. The staff there are wonderful, the room was great. The breakfast was excellent, and I liked that they changed things up a little every morning. The sauna and pool was a real treat after a long day hiking. We also loved the little tuck shop in the reception where you could buy beers!

Very beautiful and clean house with spacious rooms and super friendly staff! Also it is perfectly located for the hikes in the area, there is a super market and many cool local bars nearby. The kitchen is also well equiped, spacious and clean - perfect for a home cooked meal after a long hiking day. The owners are super responsive, check-in and check-out was so smooth and well organized.
