The room we rented was large, extremely well furnished with high quality new furnishings. The bed was very comfortable as was the large attractive sofa. The bathroom was again large with a very efficient shower with plenty of hot water day and night. The A/C was well placed and cooled the room in the high temperatures which were raging outdoors without blowing the cold blasts over the bed. Breakfast was a revelation, quite honestly one of the best we’ve had in our various journeys with fresh fruit and tomatoes straight from the owners garden, a selection of meat, cheeses, omelets, yoghurts and cereals, juices, coffee and teas : very generous and greatly appreciated. Thank you Jakob for hosting us. Private parking on site is available.

Smartno village and the Aldila Art Rooms is an absolutely stunning location. The actual hotel only has a few rooms but they are very well done and stylish. The location is really special and it's very small which makes it feel even more personalised. So gorgeous.

It's a place of wonder. There is a beautiful landscape all around you with grape everywhere. The guesthouse is like an old curia. The hosts make you feel like you were real princes or princesses. Make sure to taste their own wine. It's one of the best we've ever tasted. Hopefully we could come back sometime.

It was very quiet, very clean, and the location is interesting - there is a church right next to it (beware the bells every 15 minutes), the views are stunning, and on the way there are good viewpoints and some historical leftovers from the wars (tunnels, barricades).

If I could rate it higher than 10, I absolutely would! Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing, from the spotless cleanliness to the warm, genuine hospitality we received upon arrival. The host went above and beyond to make our visit truly special, and we can’t thank them enough. The entire house is stunning—both inside and out. It’s not just a place to stay, it feels like a work of art. Beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charm, it gave us a warm, welcoming feeling throughout our visit.
