Experience how the local live is what we are looking for. Nice Place and Clean. Taste fresh fruit and fabulous breakfast. Feel like home. Easy to go everywhere in the island, especially if you rent a motorbike. The owner is very kind and she will help you everything. My seven years old daughter like this place too. Recommended. ^___^

The hotel is right next to the pier where the boats from the mainland will drop you off. The rooms are comfortable and clean and perfect for resting up after exploring the island. Personally for me the location was perfect, it was like having your own pocket of space on the island and the drives to all of the beaches across the island are beautiful. The hosts are very hospitable and will make your stay at the island truly wonderful.

Great value accommodation in the low season. Its basically a villa with 4 rooms and several open areas and terasses to relax outside.. I stayed for 5 days in the king size bed room with gallant wooden panels with a nice little bathroom. Everything was very clean and the bed very comfy. A Towel and water was provided and you can make your own tea. The place is very quiet and close to the khlong yai keh waterfall and ao khlong mat beach with a few minimarts and restaurants. But I rented a scooter for 250b from them which opened up the entire island. The owner was not there so we had to communicate through booking chat and telephone. But it was really easy and no problem at all. There was also a maid on site to help. Also the two adorable huskies who are living there provide some entertainment and are always up for a pet.

Very cozy and quite large bungalow. The location is very good, on the main road, you can easily achieve everything on foot. The hoster welcomed us with fresh coconuts, very nice of them. Recommend!

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Great hosts, peaceful location and a clean room. Scooter rental was possible for 200 to 250 baht per day and the scooter I rented was in good condition. Pickup and transfer to the piers was free of charge and the hosts could book you tickets if you wanted to.

Fantastic guesthouse (not really a homestay). Very helpful hosts, relaxed vibe. Rooms are big, good as new, nicely designed and kept very clean. Has fridge, shelves, good AC and fan. Nice communal areas. 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach, restaurants nearby. Need a scooter to get the best out of the island.

The hosts are super friendly, chilled & laid back people who help you in every situation and try to answer all questions. Our room was super clean and had a big fridge, we felt very comfortable. Renting a scooter is possible and cost us 250 BHT, around the Homestay are a few cute restaurants who offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We especially liked Q Bar :).
