Perfect location right at the beach. Very central with good possibilities to walk to other restaurants on either side. Nice staff. Perfect for us with kids at 5, 7 and 10.

Great location for exploring old town. Very friendly owners that go above and beyond to help out with bookings, taxis, laundry, scooter hire, etc. Good english too! The photos do not do the room justice (the owner should clarify that you get sea view from the room and it includes a self contained kitchen, lounge and private balcony). It is all shown in the photos on booking.com, but it is not clear that you get everything as part of the "double room with sea view and balcony," and not just the house as a whole. Place is newly refurbished with great a/c, strong wifi, comfy bed, and a large fridge. Awesome view.

Best place to stay on Koh Mook!! We extended our stay up to eight nights because it was so hard to leave. Beautiful garden and bungalows with comfortable toilets and showers. You get a lot of privacy because of the shape of the bungalow rooves. But you can always go to the bar to meet dope people (because this place attracts only dope people!) and always a nice atmosphere there. Bird (who runs it with his wife) is a one-of-a-kind character. Always smiling! He came also with little treats for us and offered to drive us and other guests on his scooter to Charlie Beach. He even took us out in the jungle for a day and talked about all the different plants he knew. So generous! The location is really nice, a few hundred metres walk away from the central "town" but surrounded by jungle and therefore lots of bats, cicadas, monitor lizards, etc to observe. Away from the big resorts and package tourists. Dig it!

Sweet Life Guesthouse is a nice and comfortable place to stay, especially if you appreciate a modern and clean environment. I loved that there were only a few bungalows in a quiet location, reception also is a little cafe! The room was spotless and we found the beds really comfortable! Bonus was that the staff were really friendly and left us fresh towels and water everyday and offered to clean the room daily too! It really added to our stay in Koh Mook and the A/C worked brilliantly!

The breakfast was simple, but good. The tastiest food was, when I had a sore throat. The older lady (I assume the mother of the owner) prepared a soup just for me without expecting anything back. I don't know the name of that soup (something local), but it was really delicious and helped me to get over my illness. Later she brought me also tea with honey and throat tablets, which was very cute and helpful.

The location was everything, we were close to all the best beaches of Koh Lanta and to the national Park. For all our French out there, it's also 5 min walking from the Koh Lanta totem from the TV show. The room was big and clean. We had a little balcony which was convenient to dry beach cloth after swimming. But what we liked most was the owner, a very sweet lady so helpful and joyful. She showed us a hidden spot to enjoy the sunset and help us book an amazing snorkeling tour to Koh Rok. Highly recommend to stay there!

Mangrove House is an exceptional place with a very hospitable manager, Kai. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with fresh fruit! The premises are so beautiful, and taken care after. One feels like being at home. It is in the center of town (Lanta Old Town is lovely and different than any other place we have been in Thailand) yet very calm. The room was very spacious and very comfortable, had all the amenities needed. It was marvelous to sleep right next to the sea. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view and the sound of the waves on the terrace. It was deifinitely one of the most beautiful places we stayed during the trip - and we are looking forward to come back in the future!

I could go on and on about this place. U-Sah is the best host we have met and this little house is amazing, comfortable, clean and cozy. You will be 15-minute from Charlie Beach where you also are granted free sunbeds from her - this was such a big added value 🩷 It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the town, the small road takes you through the village where you will be greeted with smiles from the locals 😌 I left a piece of my heart in Koh Mook and in Paradise Bungalows, I cannot wait to be back one day 🥰
