We absolutely loved our stay in Gumpuju! We were here for 12 days and the accommodation supplied everything that we needed. As an added bonus the host was incredibly friendly and even drove us to the train station.

This beautiful room is part of a big villa where some bedrooms are rented. A shared kitchen (fully equipped) or the pool and gym can be used. At my time of the stay, I was also lucky to meet Marc and his daughter, the owners of this place. We had lovely deep conversations and enjoyed some time together, I'm really grateful. The openness and friendlyness of them is refreshing and if there's anything you need (like I needed a Scooter since the place is a bit outside, but that's how I wanted it), everyone is happy to help. Overall, I felt very welcomed and could feel at home. The garden of the house is wonderful and the whole place is very relaxing. Good wifi as well. I can recommend a longer stay and get a scooter. There are some very nice restaurants or cafes in the district and a very nice wellness place (cocoon sauna), as well as Ban Tawai (a village for traditional handicrafts), is close by scooter. I can totally recommend staying there! Especially, if you don't want to stay amidst the buzzing city and enjoy relaxing at home, doing some work and also like to meet like-minded people :) Hope to see you again sometime... somewhere around the globe!

I think I have never gave a hotel/guest house a full 10 score. This is an amazing accommodation run by a very nice family. The check in process was super easy and the ride from the airport is only 15-20 minutes. Even though it‘s 30 minutes from the city for everyone who comes to Chiang Mai for training Muay Thai, this would be your best accommodation. Lanna Muay Thai is only 2km away. You can easily walk there. Since it‘s outside of all tourist spots it‘s great to focus on Muay Thai. The room is spacious and you will have a big smart TV , a big and comfy bed, your own Bathroom and a little kitchenette with fridge. If there is anything you miss or would like to have the owner will make sure you‘ll get it. Next year they will even open a big pool. This was by far the best accommodation I‘ve had and I‘m glad due to a last minute trip and the fact that all hotels were booked, I was able to stay there. To get to the city is super easy via Grab, Bolt etc . Thank you Ban Wongdee for a nice week. Kop khun kap

After a 20 day trip from various hotels travelling thaland . Chang mai was are final destinaton.. . with 3 days before we travel home we decided we wanted a hotel next to grand canyon water park . We originally booked for one night. And ended up staying for 3 nights . The reason for this is how welcoming the owner kev .. and his brilliant staff were .. the facilities and food were absolutely what we needed ....especially after sleeping on the world's most hardened mattresses for 20 days . We received our best sleep in 20 days as the mattresses and beds were superurb Actual sausages in the morning and a full English Breakfast .. as we needed alittle normality And a pool which is 8 ft deep and not the 4 ft child's pool we normally received in thailand . .me and my partner could not thank this team enough for giving us a great experience with relaxing vibes. And we thank my new friend Ken for welcoming us in to his home . I couldn't recommend this hotel enough . 3 nights stay . Breakfast for 2 . Each day Beers and drinks each night lunch from either thai or English menu Free push bikes for your own uses age Sandals a qualified tour guide to help with any questions ARIM ..Great guy . All for the unbelievably cost of 7000 bart AWOW ...
