The hotel owner was very kind and gave us an upgrade when we arrived. Our room had an uninterrupted view of the Central Mountain range and it was fortunate that the skies were clear during our two days there. She also gave us suggestions on what to do on LINE right after we arrived, so we could plan our itinerary. The food was also was excellent! For breakfast, there was a mix of Chinese and Western food, such as congee, turnip cake, stir-fried noodles, fried eggs, toast, coffee, and much more. Dinner was also good - my family especially enjoyed the steamed fish (which tasted very much like authentic Cantonese style food), the Yunnan minced pork and lettuce rolls, and the fresh stir-fried cabbage. Would definitely revisit if I go to that area of Taiwan again!

Mr Lin is an exceptional host. He goes above and beyond t help people. He drove all the way to taichung to drop my family to the hsr railway station which is more than an hour away. Cant thank him enough. The place has a view to die for. The food was great. All in all 10/10 experience.

The location is great for getting food. There is a family mart and bica mountain cafe a minute walk away. It is a 15-min drive to the cingjing farm. The room is exceptionally clean. From the balcony, we got a beautiful view of the mountain above us. We could see stars at night and hear birdsong in the morning. There is also a bamboo forest just below us, so we could see squirrels and birds from the balcony. The owner is a tea farmer and he introduced us to some great oolong tea.

The place is located right on the main road, impossible to miss. The place seems like it's run by a family (so normal B&B), the guy who checked us in was very nice, explained and showed us everything. The room was very spacious with incredible view. We had a tiny cute gecko in the room too. :D The host recommended us a restaurant for dinner just walking distance from the place that was very good. No bars or pubs nearby I think, but just relaxing in the room and enjoying the moment without any distractions was fantastic. Morning view with sunny warm November weather was some of the best I saw in my life. Very nice breakfast with good choices. Bring an outlet adapter if you have European C, E, F and K electric plugs. Definitely recommend, what an amazing experience.
