Exceptional Host Even before our arrival, Summer offered advice on traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. She welcomed us warmly, introduced her home and the region, and recommended organized day tours. Renting bikes and motorbikes from her was incredibly convenient. Unforgettable Highlights Our favorite activity was the Tour around the Mekong N2. For about 1,000,000 VND for two, the tour included a boat driver and guide. We explored coconut plantations, local workshops, charming villages, and the Mekong’s canals. The four-hour tour was filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. Comfortable Accommodation Le Mekong Bleu is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Our air-conditioned room was comfortable, and we loved relaxing in the cozy living room where we played Summer's guitar and chatted with Summer. Delicious Breakfast Breakfast was a delight, especially the noodle soup—it was one of the best we’ve had in South Vietnam! The fresh ingredients and rich flavors made the morning very special while we had a wonderful chat with the other guests. Heartfelt Thanks Thank you, Summer! Phuc Sinh Homestay was wonderful! The setting, structures and landscaping just lovely with great attention to detail and lots of quaint little spots to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The meals were delicious, generous and great value. Everything was clean and well cared for. Plenty of hot water, drinking water and even a fridge of cold beverages that you could help yourself to and just add to your tab. But the absolute best part was the owner Minh and his wife , brother and staff. They were MORE than helpful. They provided great instructions on how to get there and had us picked up promptly. It was very hot the day we arrived and they took pity on us melting Canadians and upgraded us to a room with air conditioning at no extra cost! They booked our tour, all the different transport to our next destination and even provided photos of what to look for .And when our phone charger died they sent brother to town to purchased what we needed so we didn’t have to spend half our day trying to find a phone store, deal with the language barrier and probably have a very difficult day. This Homestay goes above and beyond to make there guests stay memorable and stress free. The whole staff came to wish us well on our journey and say goodbye. We felt like we were leaving family.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our experience. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Everything was clean and well taken care of. It's run by a lovely Vietnamese family who make us feel welcome. They helped us book transport and local tours, which made everything so much easier. I even forgot my laptop charger, and they kindly sent it all the way to Ho Chi Minh City for me without asking for anything in return—an incredible gesture we deeply appreciated. The food was good and fresh, especially the breakfast and meals prepared on-site. We truly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. A huge thank you to the owners for all their help and kindness!

Sometimes when travelling you end up in a place where everything seems to come together. This is such a place. Located on an island in the Mekong, close to the city of My Tho (just take a ferry, it costs only 2000 dong per person and goes about every ten minutes) but away from all the noise and hassle. On top of that, not only is it the only homestay on the island, it is the only whateverstay on the island. There are no other hotels, appartments, guesthouses or homestays. It's just a small Vietnamese village. If you want to live Vietnam style, this is it. Chuong, the owner, is a warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and helpfull owner, you can ask him anything. Communication was fluid and easy. There are no real restaurants on the island but do yourself a favour and eat with the family. The meals, cooked by his wife are probably the best you will eat on your travel through Vietnam. Our room overlooked the Mekong river and was spacious, had airco, a large bed and a desk. We had a clean private bathroom. And our room had a terrace from where we could watch the sunset. Or walk 2 minutes to the tip of the island for even more perfection. We rented a scooter to disover the other islands and even Ben Tre. Ask Chuong for directions. This is just the perfect spot! We felt sorry we had to leave, we could have stayed here for ages.

Highly recommend Host is very nice, we plan to spend 4 days but I have to back to HCM earlier, she support us to change the timeline & charge only 3 days. The room is warm & great however this location is little far from the centre of Ben Tre city
