A very convenient location to explore Haiphong by foot. The entrance is hidden in a small alley. It is a lovely guesthouse with a wonderful host family. Very friendly and most helpful. Nice room with comfortable bed. Laundry service provided inhouse.

The host welcomed me with a bright smile and helpful guidance, making the check-in process smooth and setting the tone for my entire stay. It's rare these days to feel such personal attention and care, but here at GM Homestay, it felt natural, like being welcomed into a family home. The room itself was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated with simple but tasteful design, and filled with natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring the city. The small kitchen setup and washing machine were lifesavers, especially for someone like me who likes the freedom to cook simple meals and manage laundry during longer stays. Every detail, from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the neatly arranged toiletries, showed how much thought the owners put into creating a space that's not just functional, but truly comforting. Even small things like extra towels, good lighting for reading, and a little corner to sit and work made a big difference to me. It’s the kind of thoughtfulness that makes a place unforgettable. The location was another huge bonus — situated in a quiet alley, so peaceful at night, but just a short ride to the bustling city center, with cafes, shops, and local markets all within easy reach. It made it so convenient to explore Hải Phòng without the noise and chaos that sometimes come with staying right downtown. But what truly touched me was the heart behind everything. That evening, it rained heavily, and the host even offered me an umbrella and recommended cozy nearby places to have dinner. It’s the small gestures that make a big difference.

Wonderful house and amazing owners. They helped with everything we needed (bike, trips, tips). The owners were very kind and shared very interesting stories. The breakfast was also amazing. Close to the center. Definitely will come back!

    Lovely family with interesting stories on Vietnamese history and culture. Very new and clean room, huge comfortable bed (even if hard mattress), homemade breakfast. Gave us the good feeling to be integrated among the locals.

    Such a lovely host, we were only there for one night unfortunately. But she made us amazing lunch and breakfast and helped booking our bus to Ninh Binh! Everything is clean and they even gave us extra blankets because of the cold. Would definitely stay here again!

    Very friendly and welcoming host family. The room was good sized and spotlessly clean. Good location - quiet but only 20 mins walk to centre and train station. There's also a lake just across the road for a pleasant stroll.
