They were very kind and you get to know them and their culture over dinner. The food was good, fresh and there was always plenty for everyone. We stayed 4 nights and loved every second of it. The views were spectacular & some of the best trekking we’ve done in Southeast Asia. The family was welcoming and the homestay was filled with animals and children. Pe Thao and his family welcomed us with open arms in their farm. We could really feel as part of the family. Stay here if you want to live an authentic Vietnamese experience in Sapa. Helpful host couple. Nice with possibilty to have dinner with the family. With the help of google translate communication works fine. When arriving and walking the 200 m from the taxi to the house you will probably be approached by local girls wanting to sell crafts. Wait with buying from them.
