This has been the highlight accommodation of our trip so far. The entire location is immaculate. Not an olive leaf out of place! We walked around the grounds and there are so many ways to kick back at this location. You should plan to stay a few hours just relaxing in the garden and the olive grove.

Just a wonderful property and location in the Robertson wine region. We loved everything about it from the property, the exceptional suite, the food, and the beautiful unique grounds and landscaping, all exceptional, but the staff were the top reason to visit Mo & Rose at Soekershof! Peter, manager, was very welcoming, and guided us on the recommendations to visit select wineries. The entire restaurant staff were so wonderful, we felt like we made friends, and we left each of them a bottle of wine as a thank you for the exceptional meals we enjoyed, presented by such caring team members, from the servers to the kitchen staff and the chef, who was a master. We wanted to take all of them with us!

Montagu truly is a hidden gem on Route 62. We only stayed one night to short-cut the long drive but the place exceeded our expectations. Joseph gave as an excellent check-in accompanied with a great sense of humour and booked us a dinner; just in case as most of restaurants are closed on a Sunday. Probably the best breakfast we had in South Africa and we travelled this country extensively. The owner cares about her guests; and this was also a very positive experience.

Situated on the beautiful slopes of the Langeberg Mountains, just two hours away from Cape Town, this charming estate is the ideal destination for a relaxing get-away.
