Just an absolutely unique and beautiful experience in the middle of the countryside. Joint dinner an absolute blast. We had car trouble and the staff took such good care of us and went out of their way to ensure we were safe. Will never forget it, highest recommendations!

It is easy to give a good review when things go perfectly, but it is when things don't go smoothly and the property owner makes an exceptional effort to put things right, that reviews really matter. I turned up to my booking to find the property unattended. Short of time, I booked somewhere else. Booking.com doesn't allow immediate cancellation, even though it is obvious that no one needs two different stays on the same night! The owner was very communicative and understanding and worked hard to help process the refund. To me, this is the mark of an exceptional and responsible property owner. We already knew the River View Cottages and wanted to go there back again. The Cottages are in a sort of stylish, but also simple and have everything you need. The surrounding is beautiful and it is very quiet. The walk you can do is very nice and gives you nice viewas of the landscape. The hosts are very helpful and are always there if you need something.
