The view is spectacular. You could spend hours just sitting on the various lookout points from the house either having a meal or reading a book and taking in the beautiful scenery in Harties. The location is great too. Several cafes, day spas and the dam itself is in walking distance and it felt safe enough to walk around during the day. We even walked to the cable car experience (about 20-25 min walk). Veronica and Louis were superb hosts. So courteous and caring for all of our needs by providing delicious breakfast, local tips, plenty of amenities (coffee, tea, water, snacks, fan, mosquito repellant) and even some amazing conversations! They really went above and beyond to look after us which is not something you find with a lot of hosts.

Wow! wow! wow! If you were ever looking for a message to score a free holiday this is it .. It was undoubtedly one of the greatest experience on holiday in and around Gauteng one that created everlasting memories To start off the reception on our arrival immediately made us feel more than welcome and Saartjie is the most pleasant host woman i have ever come across as for all the staff they are a ray off sunshine and everyone just seems so delighted to carry on on their merry way. Secondly the Venue , area and vibe around Pretorius Park is definitely suited to young adults that wants to switch off and relax but still maintain the active lifestyle with faint music coming from Kearneys the pizza bar pub on the property ideal for delicious pizza and a few drink whilst viewing sport matches being displayed on the BIG screen. The music only starts in the afternoon and is more a joy and awakens your party vibe than to be a irratation. Centraled with still some fun and memorable activities close by it is a treat to stay at pretorius park. As for the room they have all the basics covered and it ensures a lovely stay whether it is going out or staying put at pretorius park and enjoying the amazing water of the pool or taking selfies on the bridge Pretorius Park is the place to be on your next holiday. Thank you Pretorius Park for hosting me and my woman your handy work created a memory for ages to come at undoubtedly the most affordable price in Hartbeespoort you could well and truly make "value for money" your motto. Untill we meet again for a few nights away from home keep up the excellent work.🙏🏻

I liked the location of the room itself for my family- it was a ground floor unit and was spacious enough for our luggage and for the kids to feel free.
