From the moment we arrived at Iris Retreat, we were blown away by the warm hospitality. Christine, our host, was truly exceptional, she personally welcomed us and made sure we felt right at home. She was always available via WhatsApp for calls and texts, and went above and beyond to help us organize anything we needed. Her friendliness and attentiveness made our stay feel extra special, she’s honestly the best host I’ve ever met. We stayed in the Riverside Cottage, and it was breathtaking. The views of the river were serene and calming, the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. The cottage itself was spacious and beautifully set up. We especially loved the combination of the two bathrooms , one being an en-suite and the other an open-air outdoor shower and toilet, which made us feel even more connected to nature. The bed was absolutely massive, incredibly comfortable, and spotlessly clean. If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, bush-like escape surrounded by nature , this is it. Everything about Iris Retreat encourages you to unplug and unwind. A special shoutout goes to Banda, one of the staff members, who was so helpful with setting up the fire and tidying up the space , always with a kind smile and warm attitude. I genuinely loved every minute of our stay and am already looking forward to booking again. Thank you, Christine and the Iris Retreat team, for such a magical experience!

Wow! wow! wow! If you were ever looking for a message to score a free holiday this is it .. It was undoubtedly one of the greatest experience on holiday in and around Gauteng one that created everlasting memories To start off the reception on our arrival immediately made us feel more than welcome and Saartjie is the most pleasant host woman i have ever come across as for all the staff they are a ray off sunshine and everyone just seems so delighted to carry on on their merry way. Secondly the Venue , area and vibe around Pretorius Park is definitely suited to young adults that wants to switch off and relax but still maintain the active lifestyle with faint music coming from Kearneys the pizza bar pub on the property ideal for delicious pizza and a few drink whilst viewing sport matches being displayed on the BIG screen. The music only starts in the afternoon and is more a joy and awakens your party vibe than to be a irratation. Centraled with still some fun and memorable activities close by it is a treat to stay at pretorius park. As for the room they have all the basics covered and it ensures a lovely stay whether it is going out or staying put at pretorius park and enjoying the amazing water of the pool or taking selfies on the bridge Pretorius Park is the place to be on your next holiday. Thank you Pretorius Park for hosting me and my woman your handy work created a memory for ages to come at undoubtedly the most affordable price in Hartbeespoort you could well and truly make "value for money" your motto.     The breakfast offering was adequately enough and each and every dish was really well done and tasty. I liked the location of the room itself for my family- it was a ground floor unit and was spacious enough for our luggage and for the kids to feel free. Benjamin was a great host to us and made us feel very comfortable. Well done to all staff!
