My room was clean and comfortable, perfect for resting after long days of exploring. The common areas were a great place to relax, with a well-equipped kitchen and cozy spaces to meet other travelers. I also appreciated the included breakfast, which was simple but tasty and a good way to start the day.

We stayed for three nights on two occasions and I would thoroughly recommend! The family that live there are so friendly and helpful, plus they have a cute dog. They did our huge bag of washing for us for a very reasonable price. Plus they let us store our bags for free while we went to El Chaltén for three nights. They couldn't do enough for us! We stayed in a dorm room with two beds, so we had the room to ourselves. The room was warm and cozy, and all cleaned to a high standard. Towels weren't included, so worth bringing your own. I'm sure if we had asked they would have provided something as they were very helpful. We cooked in every evening as there were great kitchen facilities, so that's a good way of saving money. Location was good, a 20/25 minute walk from the bus station and about 10 minutes from restaurants and shops. They also did transfers to the glacier (90 mins - 2 hours one way, with a few hours there and then the return journey) for 35,000 which is cheaper and more convenient than the bus! Plus the driver was also lovely. If we are back in El Calafate we will stay here without a doubt.
