Perfect private getaway for a couple of days in the Ucluelet/Tofino area. Great host also. 10/10 recommendation. Would stay there anytime again. ...and unlike in the description, there is WiFi of course.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. WOW what a great little hideaway in Central Saanich. We were perfectly located to visit Victoria to the South. Sidney to the East and up Island to Nanaimo. On our arrival we were greeted by a warm toasty fireplace going along with a selection of goodies to enjoy. There were also toiletries and other supplies we could use. Nothing was a problem for Robyn our host to help make our stay even more special. This was my friend and mine’s first holiday together and having Robyn’s house feel like home was a blessing. Robyn left us fresh eggs and strawberries in the fridge along with cute little notes telling us how much she enjoys hosting us for the eight days of our holiday. Robyn shared with us all her favourite spots to visit along with us enjoying a wine at her camp site at Island View Beach. Only a few minutes drive from our room, which is a must do while you are staying here. My friend and I enjoyed quite a few sunsets and sunrises at this beach which is filled with driftwood and many structures have been created out of the massive amount of driftwood on this beach. Robyn allowed us time to spend with the chickens in the back yard and even a bbq was available for our use. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in the small but adequate kitchen and the drip coffee maker was a delight. We enjoyed the closeness of The Butterfly Farm and Butchart Gardens. Our days were full of adventure, enjoying the drive coming back to our little home away from home each night. Robyn you are a real gem and offering us your home to share was a delightful experience and cannot wait to visit again. Highly recommended with value for money and a wonderful experience on Vancouver Island.

Set in Nanoose Bay, Tyee Beach Oasis Bed and Breakfast is a recently renovated accommodation, 31 km from Nanaimo Bastion and 31 km from Newcastle Island Marine Park. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Petroglyph Park is 36 km from the guest house. There was nothing not to like. It was beautifully furnished and very relaxing with wonderful views of the beach. There was a washer and dryer which was very handy after travelling for one week. The extra touches of fresh fruit, nuts, chocolates and home baked treats were delightful.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 16 km from Newcastle Island Marine Park. This is a lovely property, with views of the strait and the islands. The owners are very kind and friendly, and although breakfast was not supposed to be included, they left breakfast food in the refrigerator for us. There were reclining sofas with heat and massage. The price was very good for a lodging this wonderful. We hope to return!
