Located in the heart of lijiang ancient town, but at the same time in a very quiet area, as some parts of the town can get very loud and busy at night, So the location is perfect. All the staff are very attentive and helpful, and they went out of their way to provide halal items for our breakfast. The place is designed beautifully, the rooms and beds are comfy. We never asked for making up the rooms, but everyday the trash was taken out, provided with new clean towels, amenities and water, which was much appreciated.

The hotel is located in the middle of the old town in a beautiful old Chinese house, I loved my room with the spa bathtub, it was like going back in time to live a Chinese’s dynasty. Joye spoke excellent English and his assistant was nice enough to pick me and my luggage from the South Gate to to the hotel, they were doing everything to make my stay comfortable. Joye also booked for me jade snow mountain tour and recommended amazing restaurants. Thank you for all the help, highly recommend this place :)

Beautiful courtyard house in a quiet neighbourhood, but very close to restaurants and the south gate of the old town. Rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-stocked, and the breakfast is delicious! Jiuan and his family/team made us feel really at home.

I love this place, every single thing. The owners are just so present, helpful, kind, calm, and show great hospitality. It felt like we were staying at their home and experiencing how life is in Dali. They gave us great recommendations on where to visit and what to do to enjoy Dali, and most importantly, take it slow. We got a delux double room. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated with lots of details showing the owners put a lot of thoughts on this place. Theres a lot of personal touches. The building itself has 3 outdoor and 1 indoor areas for sitting and relaxing. It was a pity we were staying for 2 nights only and didn't get a chance to enjoy the areas. Totally recommend you to stay here, esp if you prefer more personal cute boutique hotels to big chains and commercial hotels. Both owners are also very used to international tourists and speak English, so it is a huge plus. Big thanks to the owners for such a wonderful stay.
