The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can have a great time there. We loved the activities like movie night or mangrove tour, parties or pizza night. The location is perfect with the river and the sea very close by. The room and facilities were cleaned every day and the chill space was really chill 😃 Every day there is food at fixed time frames and it makes people come together and it’s easy to make connections. The staff and volunteers are super nice and it was a pleasure to hang out with everyone. It makes sense that people stay here for more than a few days.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Hostal La Finquita is a recently renovated guest house situated in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with views of the garden. Very nice and comfortable accommodation with a large and spacious area and a big swimming pool. The rooms were in a natural style, which we really liked. Breakfast was also provided at the accommodation. I also positively evaluate the location of the accommodation.

I loved staying here and extended from 2 nights to 10 nights in total. Great breakfast and free coffe and water all day. The location is perfect, the pool has different levels. The staff is amazing and will try help you with any question. Wifi worked great. The have laundry service too. I liked the common chill area upstairs with hammocks and downstairs with a small sofa area and many places around the pool area. Great value for what you pay. No party hostel.

This is definitely one of our favourite places to stay, if not “the favourite”! Wi-Fi is amazing here, especially for Palomino, where the power goes out every now and then - Bella Flor has both a generator, and solar panels so the internet is stable even during outages. This is highly important for my partner who works online. So we immensely appreciate this - to be able to take “your office” with you to paradise. The communal spaces are also gorgeous! Just saw a hummingbird in the garden the other day… Easy to meet other travelers, and there’s also a quiet space for when you need “me time”. They also have a communal kitchen. And you can see the stunning sierra and its snow (yes, snow!) from their backyard… Of course we extended our stay here for longer <3
