The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. It is a 3-storey building run by a very welcoming family. The breakfast is the best we have tasted in the whole island, with a lot of quantity and the quality was excellent (they made homemade sponge cake!!). The host family are very nice, friendly and welcoming. They are learning many languages, and try to speak to you in your own language. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and brand new (in fact, they are working on the upper floor to make more rooms). It is without a doubt, our most recommended stay in Cape Verde!!!

The accommodation is non-smoking. Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. Muito obrigada to the whole team!

Offering garden views, Residencial Lela d'Fermina in Pombas offers accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a bar and a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the year-round outdoor pool, or enjoy views of the mountain and pool. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, straight from our hike which started at the Cova crater - Vale do Paul. The location was very convenient for our travel plan. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel, and a restaurant opposite to it. The hotel is very well maintained, there is a nice pool in the garden and breakfast is also served there (it was a very good one!). The room was clean, air-conditioned, with comfy beds. We spent 2 nights there and could not enjoy the second breakfast but the host was very kind and gave us some bananas for our next hike (Cruzihna - Ponta do Sol). He also arranged a taxi for us upon departure, overall he was very attentive and welcoming.

The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

The guest house offers mountain views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Great location in this cute town - next to some nice places to eat and with views of the mountains and coast. Also in a good location to do the hike to Fontanillas. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the area is quiet at night - with the window open you can hear the sea. Also, a lovely breakfast.

Casa Santa Barbara Deluxe is situated in Ribeira Grande and has a private pool and pool views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. Spacious rooms, private bathroom, friendly staff and daily breakfast was great. The location was also within walking distance to great restaurants.

Guests can enjoy the indoor pool at the homestay. Great staff, good location, good value, great breakfast and tasty food in the restaurant they hold in the same building (especially loved the home made ice cream!), laundry and taxi services easily provided (but alugueres are easy to use and much cheaper, although less flexible), felt in a family home. In the end we forgot the passport and wallet in a drawer (!), they called us right away to get it back.
