Beds were super comfortable, location was a bit off, so very quite and good for resting, yet very close to the city by car. Room was clean. They had a vending machine downstairs for late night refreshment. Everything was great. When I didn't figure out how to get the code, I got response from provided phone and everything was cleared up in a minute. Really - I wish this was the standard in other accommodations as well 🙂

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. We loved this excellent hotel! It has a dream-like location with mountain views and is close to very nice hiking trails. The room was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The breakfast and coffee were good. The staff was very kind and friendly.

At first I was afraid that since it is 10 km far from center of munich it would be boring... On the contrary. Amazing beauty , nature convenient and great opportunities for both inlineskating and cycling :) The hosts are not less then amazing! Generous caring and kind. And as sombody crazy for cleaning - It is remarkebly shining and very very clean.
