Set in the quiet residential suburb of Vanløse, these guest rooms are located in the lower part (high basement) in this house with natural light coming in and cross ventilation as all rooms have windows. The house is located at a 10-minute Metro ride from central Copenhagen. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, as well as a communal kitchenette. With a reasonable charge, guests can use washing machine and dryer. The hosts were out of town, but we were welcomed instead by Maria who is a friendly and warm woman, who is also doing the cleaning. We got her phone number and could reach her in case of need. We were allowed to use the car port to park our car and avoid paying fines or moving the car between certain hours. The place is clean and warm. Metro/train, supermarket and a few restaurants are within walking distance. We had the place to ourselves most of the time. If there would have been other guests, then maybe the kitchen would be a little small if all guests want to use it at the same time. But you will probably figure that out.

The hosts, Hanna and family were friendly and very available, and made sure I was comfortable. The WiFi was excellent for my remote work. Lovely room, very bright and quiet, with views to the garden in each direction, but also with privacy, so It almost feels like you are in a separate house. The shower was better than my own shower at home.
